To enjoy their functionality and appearance for as long as possible, it’s worth following a few basic usage rules.

Thermal resistance – avoid high temperatures

Products printed with PLA filament have limited heat resistance. Their structure may deform with prolonged exposure to temperatures above 60°C. This means:

• Do not place very hot dishes on them (e.g. pots, kettles with boiling water).
• Coasters are suitable for warm drinks but not for dishes directly from the stove or oven.

Not dishwasher safe

To avoid damage, do not wash PLA products in a dishwasher. High temperatures and strong detergents may cause warping, delamination, or discoloration. We recommend:

• Hand washing with lukewarm water and mild detergent.
• Avoid prolonged soaking in water.

Avoid exposure to sunlight

Long-term exposure to direct sunlight (e.g. on a windowsill) may lead to discoloration or material degradation. It is best to store and use the products in shaded areas or indoors.

Small imperfections are a natural feature of 3D printing

Each product made with 3D printing may have slight layer marks or minor texture differences – this results from the manual design and production process. It does not affect the product’s functionality and gives it a unique character.

By handling with care and following the recommendations above, your PLA products will remain in great condition for a long time. These are not only aesthetic additions but also durable and eco-friendly solutions – when used properly.
